1. Good Wines Co. Session Fizz, Austria

  • Tastes like: Granny Smith apples, lemon zest and grapefruit
  • Pairs with: festive party food, green olives and salted almonds
  • Insider intel: this pet nat has been fermented in the can – totally unique winemaking that creates natural, soft bubbles
  • Food Pairing: serve your Session Fizz as an aperitif with a zesty ricotta dip like this one

Pop the Pet Nat

2. BONU Pecorino, Italy

BONU Pecorino 25cl from Abruzzo, Italy – bright and zesty with pineapple, melon, lemon and floral notes.

  • Tastes like: a silky and complex blend of citrus, melon and pineapple
  • Pairs with: goat's cheese, pasta dishes and festive smoked salmon + crème fraîche bites
  • Insider intel: “Pecorino” literally means ‘little sheep’ - legend has it the grape was a favourite snack for roaming sheep in Abruzzo’s hills
  • Try with: goat’s cheese & cranberry crostini - a festive twist that matches the wine’s bright, citrusy style

3. Vinca Organic White Wine, Sicily

A 187ml can of white wine made from organic Catarratto grapes from Sicily, Italy produced for Vinca.

  • Pairs with: seafood, Thai curry, sheep's cheeses (feta especially), and ricotta

4. Laylo Malbec, Spain

Laylo Spanish Malbec canned wine - silky smooth red with mulberry, blueberry, and plum, crafted by winemaker Lauren Rosillo

  • Tastes like: bursting with mulberry, blueberry and plum and a touch of caramel
  • Pairs with: grilled red meats, slow-cooked lamb, or a hearty stew. For something indulgent, try it with blue cheese - the richness of the wine softens the tang, creating a match made in heaven
  • Insider intel: though Malbec is Argentina’s superstar, Spain’s high-altitude parcels produce wines with brighter, fresher fruit and lifted acidity
  • Snack Hack: try it with mini lamb koftas - spiced, juicy, and the ultimate bite-sized match for this plush Spanish Malbec

Sip Spanish Malbec

5. Hands Off Pinot Noir, Germany

A 250ml can of red wine made from Pinot Noir grapes from Germany produced by Hands Off.

  • Tastes like: cherries, dark fruits and red berries with a savoury hint
  • Pairs with: lots, it’s super versatile but we have to recommend this as your festive turkey wine pairing
  • Insider intel: known as the “heartbreak grape,” Pinot Noir is notoriously fussy in the vineyard, which makes Germany’s silky, cherry-bright style even more impressive
  • Food Pairing: it has to be your Christmas Day turkey (or, better still - the boxing day turkey curry!)

Sip the Pinot Noir

6. The Liberator Worcester Sauce, South Africa

The Liberator Worcester Sauce canned Red Muscadel from South Africa, with rich caramel, raisin and red fruit flavours balanced by fresh acidity.

  • Tastes like: rich with caramel, raisins and red fruit, balanced by a refreshing lift of acidity – nothing like the store-cupboard condiment of a similar name!
  • Pairs with: slow sips after dinner, pairing with blue cheese, or drizzling over sticky toffee pudding for an indulgent twist
  • Insider intel: first produced in 1963, this fortified wine has become a Cape classic, yet Red Muscadel remains relatively unknown outside South Africa
  • Festive pairing: the ultimate cheeseboard: creamy blue cheese, triple-cream Brie, and aged Gouda with prosciutto, dried figs, candied nuts, and crusty bread

Frequently asked questions about the Vinito wine subscription

What is the Vinito monthly wine subscription?

Vinito is a monthly canned wine subscription based in the UK. Each month, founder Louisa hand-picks six canned wines from producers around the world - typically a mix of whites, rosés and reds from regions including Italy, France, Spain, Portugal, Chile, Austria and more. Every box comes with tasting notes written by Louisa, food pairing suggestions, and recipe links so you can get the most from each wine. It's designed for people who love discovering new wines without the pressure of committing to a full bottle.

How much does the Vinito subscription cost?

A monthly subscription is £38 per month. You can also order a one-off box for £40 without subscribing. Subscriptions can be paused or cancelled at any time.

Why canned wine?

Canned wine gets a bad reputation it doesn't deserve. The wines in each Vinito box are the same quality you'd expect from a bottle - often from small, independent producers with real stories behind them. Cans are better for the environment than glass, more practical for picnics, garden evenings and festivals, and they mean you can enjoy a single glass without worrying about finishing a bottle. It's wine that fits around your life.

Is a Vinito subscription good for wine tasting at home?

Yes - it's one of the easiest ways to do structured wine tasting at home without any expertise required. Because each box contains six different wines with tasting notes and food pairings, you can work through them properly: taste each one, compare them, try the suggested pairings. No specialist kit needed. Just six cans, some snacks, and a bit of curiosity.

Can I buy a Vinito box as a wine gift subscription?

Absolutely. A Vinito subscription makes a brilliant gift — especially for wine lovers who are curious about canned wine, people who live alone and don't always want to open a full bottle, or anyone who likes discovering new wines without the faff. We offer gifted subscriptions alongside personal ones. Find out more about gifting a Vinito subscription →

What makes Vinito different from other wine subscription boxes in the UK?

Most wine subscription boxes send bottles. Vinito sends cans - which means more flexibility in how and when you drink your wines and a lighter environmental footprint. Every wine is personally chosen by Louisa, with tasting notes she writes herself rather than copy-pasted producer descriptions. It's a more personal, more curious, more fun take on the wine subscription model.
