Welcome to your insider notes on the wines we’re featuring in this month’s Vinito subscription. We’ll go through each of the 6 cans in November’s box along with some delicious food pairings. Let us know if you try any of these!
1. Vinca Organic Sparkling, Italy

- Tastes like: zesty citrus, white peach and pure Sicilian sunshine in a can.

- Insider intel: this fizz is made from carefully selected organic Grillo - a grape used to craft the finest sparkling wines in Sicily
- Cocktail idea: try Vinca in a Winter Aperol – mix 50ml Aperol, 75ml Vinca Sparkling and 60ml apple juice. Garnish with orange slices and a cinnamon stick and enjoy!
2. Laylo Sauvignon Blanc, France

- Tastes like: pineapple, white peach and green apple – crisp and refreshing!
- Pairs with: creamy risotto or lemon-butter pasta .
- Insider intel: this Loire wine combines the elegance of Old World Sauvignon with the tropical punch usually found in its New Zealand cousins

3. Canned Wine Co. Viognier, France

- Tastes like: peach, jasmine flower and a hint of buttery pastry. It’s soft, aromatic and gorgeously rich without being heavy.
- Pairs with: chicken katsu or pizza topped with buffalo mozzarella. It's also delicious with Iberian cheese and cold cuts.
- Insider intel: viognier is one of France’s most aromatic grapes, known for its perfume-like intensity. This one balances it beautifully with freshness.

4. Lubanzi Shiraz, South Africa

- Tastes like: cherries, dark fruits and red berries with a savoury, spicy hint.
- Pairs with: slow-cooked meats, roasted veggies or your Sunday roast.
- Insider intel: Lubanzi’s wines are certified Fairtrade, made by a collective of independent farmers in the Western Cape - and they give back a portion of profits to local communities.
- Snack Hack: try with some BBQ beef Hula Hoops (really!)
5. Hands Off The Red Wine, Spain

- Tastes like: ripe red fruit, liquorice, mint and wild Mediterranean herbs – silky and smooth.
- Pairs with: tapas, charcuterie, or rich tomato-based dishes
- Insider intel: made with minimal intervention, this Spanish red lets the grapes do the talking. Natural, honest, and full of personality.
- Snack hack: try it with Manchego cheese and quince paste for a no-effort, perfect pairing.
6. The Copper Crew Negroamaro, italy

- Tastes like: black cherry, wild berries and a hint of chocolate. Smooth, juicy and beautifully balanced - a real crowd-pleaser.
- Pairs with: Bonfire night pulled pork or chilli
- Insider intel: from Puglia in southern Italy, Negroamaro is the local hero grape - bold, flavourful and effortlessly drinkable.
- Low effort pairing: pour it with a slice (or three) of pepperoni pizza and call it self-care.
