A beautifully balanced Garnacha from selected old vines in Aragon, Spain.

Aromas of chocolate-coated cherries and cassis with some vanilla spice lead you into a warming palate with a good tang of racy acidity. Fruit is all black cherry and bright strawberry. Tannins are smooth with a lovely touch of cherry stone and almond on the finish. This red is made from grapes grown on old vines at altitude in the Aragon region of Spain. They are hand-harvested, gently pressed, and matured in oak for 12 months, developing into a wine that is truly special.

Try pairing with BBQ meats, smoky bean chilli, sticky glazed pork and roasted aubergine.
