Tropical, textured and fresh with an oxidative character, Flint Vineyards’ Hazy Bacchus is a bold reimagining of one of England’s best-known grapes. The first release from their experimental Flint Labs series, this skin-contact, unfiltered Bacchus has a gently hazy appearance and a deliciously wild streak. Made with zero sulphite additions and no filtration, it has vibrant notes of grapefruit zest, elderflower, and green herbs, underpinned by subtle tropical fruit and a savoury, slightly oxidative edge. Richer and more grippy than your usual Bacchus, and all the better for it.

Pairs beautifully with grilled asparagus and romesco, Vietnamese summer rolls, lemony freekeh salad with herbs, or soft cheeses like robiola or even a mild washed rind cheese. Its texture and aromatics also stand up well to dishes with a touch of bitterness or funk - try it with marinated artichokes or a miso-glazed aubergine.
